Meet Dr Wayne Williams

Wayne has been an invited speaker to international conferences and clinical and academic institutions as part of education and lecturing programs in 31 countries. He has served as a clinical advisor to numerous medical and dental companies in the USA and throughout Europe over the past 24 years.

Wayne has held positions as the International Clinical director for Milestone Scientific Inc. (USA) and as a lead clinical specialist at dental practices in Harley Street (London) and in the City of London. He has published scientific papers in numerous peer-reviewed, international clinical and research journals and is a past recipient of the Colgate Prize for post-graduate research.

Having received his post-graduate degree with distinction, Wayne has been the owner and lead clinical specialist at smile2o, a private dental centre in Wokingham, Berkshire (UK), since 2004.

Dentex Health acquired smile2o in April 2022, and Wayne remains the lead clinical specialist at the practice. Currently writing two books for publication, one as the sole author of “The Art and Science of Modern Local Anaesthesia” and the other in collaboration with a legal colleague/ patient – “Negotiating for Dentists and all those around us.” Wayne served on the Steering Committee during the founding of the BAPD (British Association of Private Dentistry) and in response to the Covid-19 crisis and continues to serve on the Communications Committee of the BAPD. Wayne is a key opinion leader and speaker for Align Technology, developing clinical strategies and exploring restorative advantages of intra-oral scanners and software.

Wayne is a keen golfer and McLaren motor racing enthusiast.
