Skin Booster Treatments

We offer deep skin hydration treatments through a suite of skin booster solutions.

We Can Recommend the Right Facial Aesthetics Treatment for You

Every patient at SKIN2 comes for a consultation at our practice. During this time, you can advise us on your concerns about your skin, and based on our expertise and service offerings, we can present you with options to help you appreciate your skin once again.

What are Skin Booster Treatments?

Skin boosters are an injectable skin care treatment our practitioners use to aid in the hydration and rejuvenation of the skin. We inject skin booster treatments in many areas, but we often see patients who want to introduce more hydration to their face and neck. We select safe skin booster products for all skin types and have a proven track record for safety and success.

Before treatment, we apply a topical anaesthetic to your skin, to make the skin booster treatment more comfortable. We apply skin boosters to the surface of the skin using micro-aliquots. Light micro-perforations are made evenly across the treatment area to achieve the desired result.

The Difference Between Skin Boosters and Dermal Fillers

Like dermal fillers, skin boosters are also formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA) as the main ingredient, making it easy to confuse the two. However, boosters and fillers behave differently, as skin boosters are usually thinner in consistency, making them spread out more.
Where dermal fillers typically add volume, augment certain features, or fill out areas of the face, skin boosters primarily hydrate and improve the texture and condition of the skin. Certain skin boosters can also help minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Repair and Rehydrate Skin with Redensity 1

Teoxane Redensity 1 is a fully hydrating treatment and includes pure HA. This ingredient has the additional benefit of three antioxidants, eight amino acids, two minerals, and a vitamin. The special formulation helps repair the skin while hydrating it. We may offer patients Redensity 1 treatment to help with thinning skin and promote a dewy complexion.

Which Areas Can Be Treated by Redensity 1?
Redensity 1 is most effective in areas prone to ageing, such as the face, neck, hands, crows feet (smile lines around the eyes), lip lines, and décolletage.

When Will I See the Results?
Individual results will vary, but most patients document their best results at around four weeks.

Promote Elasticity and Firmness with Profhilo

Award-winning Profhilo is an injectable skin booster, which works to bio-remodel collagen and elastin while hydrating the skin. Like Redensity 1, Profhilo contains pure hyaluronic acid in high quantities, giving it strong hydrating properties. This skin booster also helps counteract skin laxity, firming up the application area.

Which Areas Can Be Treated by Profhilo?
We currently use Profhilo on the lower part of the face for skin laxity and the neck. However, it can also be used on various other areas such as the décolletage, hands, arms, knees, and abdomen.

Stimulate Natural Collagen Production with Sunekos

Sunekos is an award-winning injectable skin treatment with a unique, patented amino acids and hyaluronic acid formulation. Once injected, Sunekos helps stimulate the activity of skin fibroblasts, producing collagen and elastin, the two most important structural proteins of our skin. Collagen and elastin help restore the biological functions of the skin, improving facial volume loss, reducing wrinkles, and contributing to better skin hydration, texture, and tone.

Sunekos is not a dermal filler or toxin; it’s a more natural treatment. This skin booster treatment prevents patients from looking over-filled, as it stimulates your body’s collagen production to improve the skin instead of adding additional volume.

This treatment is suited to patients with loose, crepey, thin skin or loss of volume around the eyes. Sunekos can reduce dark circles under the eye by thickening the skin, and elastin stimulation can help reduce eye bags and hollow eyes.

Which Areas can be Treated by Sunekos?
The unique, patented formulation is safe and effective for use on many parts of the body, including the face, neck, hands, and décolletage.

When Will I See the Results?
Clinical trials showed a significant improvement in skin hydration after 10 days following the first treatment session with Sunekos, which remains present even after six months.

How Many Treatments are Recommended?
We recommend four Sunekos treatments, 7–10 days apart, to achieve the optimum result. You should notice an improvement as the treatment progresses.

Is there Downtime After a Skin Booster Treatment?

While most patients can continue their day as usual immediately, it may take up to 72 hours for any swelling, redness, or small bumps from the injections to subside completely. Your SKIN2 practitioner will be able to advise you on specifics regarding aftercare. If you have any concerns about post-treatment care, please let us know.
