BioRePeel Chemical Peels at SKIN2
BioRePeel is a biphasic chemical peel. It is a sophisticated formulation of acids, including amino acids and vitamins, stimulating superficial and deep tissue rejuvenation. The rich composition contains 35% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) – a muscle relaxant that helps with the appearance of lines or wrinkles.
The chemical action of BioRePeel stimulates through to the dermis layer of the skin and helps regulate hyperpigmentation and correct imperfections, control sebum production, reduce dilated pores and accelerate cell turnover and, in doing so, increase the ability of fibroblast cells to produce more collagen and elastin.
As a result of the bi-phasic action of the peel, some patients notice improvements in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, better skin tone and texture, reduced acne and scarring, reduced blackheads and open pores, reduced pigmentation and melasma, and differences in the condition of dull and dry skin.
A Medical Grade Chemical Peel
BioRePeel is a medium TCA peel and is exclusively used in a medical setting by a trained practitioner. The peel penetrates through the top five layers of the epidermis to the upper layers of the dermis. Despite the deep treatment, one of the main advantages of this peel over other types of chemical peels is that there is very minimal downtime following treatment.
You could have BioRePeel treatment alone or in conjunction with skin boosters and anti-wrinkle injections. It will have a more intense skin rejuvenation outcome when used in conjunction with any of these two treatments.

This chemical peel is suitable for all skin types, but treatment is contraindicated with certain health conditions, including diabetes, kidney disease, autoimmune disorders, and more. What to Expect During Treatment
Our practitioner will clean the area and protect your hair and eyes with appropriate precautions. We prepare the skin and apply the solution carefully. You may feel a slight tingling sensation on application.
Downtime After BioRePeel
Your skin may appear slightly flushed afterward, lasting 24 to 48 hours. In the days following your treatment, you may experience peeling and flaking of the skin (which may continue up to 10 days post-treatment). Please be sure to follow our aftercare instructions for proper healing.
When Are Results Visible?
Clinical trials showed a significant improvement in skin hydration after 10 days following the first treatment session with BioRePeel. This improvement remains present, even after six months following treatment.
How Many Treatments Are Recommended?
To optimise results, a course of four treatments, seven to ten days apart, is advised. Following the initial course of treatment, we recommend a chemical peel once every six to eight weeks. BioRePeel can be offered as a once-off treatment; however, results may not be fully-realised.
